The Orlando Fire Museum
Located at 814 E. Rollins Street Orlando, Florida 32803.
It is a fantastic attraction for kids and adults alike. The museum focuses on the history of firefighting in the city, with exhibits that include vintage fire trucks, photographs, and other artifacts.
The Orlando Fire Museum is the only fire-related museum in Florida.
It is housed in a restored fire station and includes exhibits on the history of firefighting equipment and vehicles, including antique fire engines, hook and ladder trucks, wagons, and more.
Kids will also be fascinated by some of the museum’s interactive displays, which include a hands-on fire pole, fire hoses to spray water and play with water cannons, and an alarm button that rings throughout the building when pushed.
From 1926 – 1978: The red brick firehouse was initially located on Orlando Avenue, near Dade Street, in College Park.
In 1972, the new Station 3 was built in College Park. The Orlando Science Center migrated the old station to Loch Haven Park.
The museum stays open Fridays & Saturdays, 10 a.m. - 4 p.m.

Gator Zipline At Gatorland
Gatorland is a theme park and wildlife preserve in Orlando, Florida. It is home to more than 400 alligators and crocodiles, including the famous "General" (a 4,000-pound, 15-foot gator), and has been in operation since 1949.
The park also features a variety of rides and attractions, including an airboat ride, a tram tour, a gator wrestling show ("Reptile Rumble"), and several zip lines over an alligator habitat.
The ziplines are located in the Tropical Swamp area of the park and feature five different lines: three ropes for children (ages 8-11), one rope for teens (ages 12-15), and one rope for adults (ages 16+). The adult zipline requires riders to weigh between 75 pounds - 250 pounds.
Where To Start
You will start by getting into a harness and climbing up a tower before being released into the air above the waters at Gatorland. Once your feet leave the ground, you will zip around for about 700 feet before coming to a landing platform where more family members can catch up with you.
The entire experience lasts about five minutes from start to finish, so that it will take little time out of your day. It is also important to note that this attraction is only available during certain hours because of environmental regulations.

They offer spacious parking facilities.
You may have the facility to hire a wheelchair for the disabled and strollers for your toddlers. You may be charged a strollers single for $11.00 and double for $16.00. Whereas a wheelchair maybe cost Push Wheelchair $11.00 and Electric Wheelchair $27.00.

Other Unique Places You May Visit In Orlando With Kids
Sling-Shot
Sling-Shot is a two- tower attraction that stands 300 feet tall. The Sling Shot consists of two towers, each with its own cable and bucket. Riders are seated in a single-person netting seat and pulled up to the top of the tower where they begin their descent. The rider is then released to free fall down at speeds reaching 70 mph. The ride ends with a splashdown into an artificial pool below.
Escape Effect
Escape Effect is a place solving puzzles. It's a fun place where you can go and solve puzzles to escape. It's not just a place where they have a few rooms but an entire park. You can walk around the park and enjoy the other attractions there.
The park has several puzzles for you to solve, everything from escape rooms to mazes and even scavenger hunts. There are so many different things to do here that no matter what kind of puzzle you like, they probably have it!
Frozen Ever After
Frozen Ever After is located in EPCOT and is based on Disney’s animated film Frozen and the story of Anna and Kristoff. The attraction takes guests into Arendelle, where they board their boat for a voyage through Elsa’s icy kingdom.
The boats travel past snowy mountains and through fjords before reaching Elsa’s ice palace, which features scenes from both the movie and new scenes featuring Olaf and Sven that were not seen in the original movie!
Orlando Science Center
This museum is a great place for kids of all ages. There are exhibits on space travel and dinosaurs, along with plenty of hands-on activities made specifically for children. You can even touch a real meteorite!
Watersports Complex
At Wet ‘n Wild, kids can enjoy wave pools and water slides. It is one of the best water parks in Orlando, with more than 20 rides for all ages, including some designed specifically for younger children.
Aquatica at SeaWorld Orlando
SeaWorld has several attractions for kids, but Aquatica is its most popular attraction. The park features more than 30 rides, attractions, and a lazy river and wave pool.
Orlando Science Center
Another one of my favorite places in Orlando with kids is the Orlando Science Center! This museum is full of hands-on exhibits perfect for kids of all ages. From a giant bubble wall to a butterfly garden, this museum will keep you entertained for hours!
Botanical Gardens
The Harry P. Leu Botanical Gardens is another great place to visit while in Orlando with kids! This beautiful garden features over 1,000 types of plants from around the world, including Australia, New Zealand, and South America. The garden has several different themed gardens for visitors to explore, including an English and Japanese Garden.
Universal’s Volcano Bay Water Theme Park
My family loves water parks, and we had heard great things about Universal’s Volcano Bay Water Theme Park, so we decided to try it during our most recent visit to Orlando. This park has something for everyone – from lazy rivers, wave pools, and water slides to surf zones, play areas, and relaxation areas with hot tubs – there is something for everyone at this park!
The American Idol Experience
The American Idol Experience is located inside Disney’s Hollywood Studios Park and allows guests to audition for their chance to win fame just like their idols.
Winter Wonderland at Legoland Florida Resort
If you’re looking for something fun with your family during the winter months, check out Winter Wonderland at Legoland Florida Resort! Winter Wonderland has tons of holiday-themed rides and attractions that will put you right into the holiday spirit!
